Theta Chi Renovations
Theta Chi undergraduates were banished by both the University of Oregon and their Alumni Board at the end of the Fall Term, 2008. This was a sad event for several reasons, one of which is the undergraduates had sullied their extraordinarily lovely House (1125 East 19th Street). They did this in through both major and minor damage inside the House. By writing graffiti on the walls and doors, by a refusal to even do modest cleaning themselves.
During the period from January to September, John Hibbs, the Theta Chi “House Dad”, took it upon himself to organize an effort called Room-For-Work Renovation Project. As can be seen by the many dozens of photos here, one can get a reasonably accurate “picture” of the outstanding results from the Project.

The photos below “paint a great picture” of why and how this House can be “returned” to greatness.
